The missing link in most fundraising strategies is the oversight and direction designed to ensure that fundraising professionals are meeting measurable and objective performance expectations. Using a variety of tools and communication channels, we provide a consistent coaching and oversight relationship to fundraising professionals centered on our performance management dashboard. Our dashboard is aligned with our facilitation of weekly reports, twice a month coaching sessions, quarterly performance assessments, and the mid-year and annual evaluations. This coaching and oversight relationship is often utilized by our clients as a strategic layer of supervision and accountability between the executive and the fundraising professional.
For example, several of our clients have found themselves with a development officer who feels isolated from the rest of the organization, lacks strategic direction, or fails to meet performance expectations. For these individuals, we have developed a coaching model that ensures a consistent focus on five key measurables of fundraising performance. Each measurable is reported and reviewed each week using a web-based platform. Accountability is enhanced with routine coaching calls and quarterly onsite visits.
